Antelope Valley

Kindred Space LA has expanded to Lancaster, California, to meet the urgent maternity care needs of mothers and families in the Antelope Valley. Our Lancaster location is now open and serving the community with comprehensive, culturally rooted midwifery care.

Why Midwifery Care?

Midwifery care is personal. It is rooted in trust, continuity, and honoring birth as a normal, powerful life event.

Research continues to show that midwife-led care reduces unnecessary interventions, improves birth outcomes, and provides individualized support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Families are known. They are heard. Their preferences matter.

This model of care is especially important in communities where families have historically felt unseen or underserved. At Kindred Space AV, we believe every birthing person deserves respectful, culturally attuned, evidence-based care.

Why the Antelope Valley?

The Antelope Valley is experiencing a growing population, yet the region faces severe gaps in maternal health services. Families in Lancaster and the surrounding areas often must travel long distances to receive adequate prenatal, birthing, and postpartum care. Many are left without access to culturally competent care tailored to their needs. A birthing center in Lancaster will provide a safe, supportive space for families to thrive and reduce the disparities in maternal health outcomes.

Our Vision for Lancaster

We envision a thriving birth community in the Antelope Valley — one where families feel supported, informed, and empowered from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond.

Our Lancaster space is growing alongside the community it serves.

Kindredspace is the best Midwifery Care facility. They were so loving, caring, and supportive throughout my entire journey. The knowledge these women hold and share are irreplaceable. Thank you for taking care of me and my family through this life changing experience. Forever part of my village and birth story.

Kindred Space AV is a breath of fresh air. I was so blessed to know that we had an out of hospital birth option in the Antelope Valley and did not have to travel to Santa Clarita Valley to receive this type of care. The midwives are so warm and knowledgeable and caring;never once have I felt like a burden with my thousands of questions. If you’ve ever thought about having your child out of hospital or are just interested in it, check them out and see if they’re a fit for you. They were an amazing fit for me.
